DIP Switch Settings

The SEIKOSHA SL-532 printers use the following Dip Switch settings. Please refer to the printer manual for details of how to set these printers up.

Note: The printer must be turned off before you can change any of the switches. Three Dip Switch Banks are provided on the back of the operation panel.

If you have been printing, allow the Print head to cool down before touching it. When setting the switches (below), open the front cover. The DIP switches are only read after the initialisation process either by turning the printer on or by receiving the INITIAL signal via the Parallel Interface.

Note : The printer must be reset (Load/Escape + Reverse/Status) or turn the power off before changing the dip switch setting.

Note 1 : Character pitch is selected by No.1 - 7 and 1 - 8

Note 2 : No. 1 - 6 selects Draft or LQ.

Note 3 : When LQ is selected by No.1 - 6, No. 1 - 4 and No. 1 - 5, select the character font.

Note 1 : Font pack mode becomes effective when it is installed, when the font pack is not used, Courier10 is selected
