The 24-pin BP-9000 from Seiko Precision is a high-performance state -of-the-art dot matrix printers and suitable for fanfold papers, cut sheets, envelopes, labels and multiple forms.  This printer achieves a speed of up to 840 characters per second (Super Speed Draft Mode). As well as being extremely fast, it is also highly economical: a single ribbon cartridge can print up to 20 million characters. Typically, these printers are used in the retail trade, in industry and in banking.

To increase their versatility even further, the BP-9000 has a push tractor for fanfold paper at the rear and optionally a Pull Tractor or a cut sheet feeder (expandable by ASF 300 E) for top-feeding operation. Paper management is further enhanced by the printers' Intelligent Label Mode, which prevents labels from peeling off. The Auto Scroll function allows automatic positioning of the paper perforation against the tear-off-edge.

The BP-9000 offers a total of 10 resident letter-quality fonts, thus giving you a large number of design options for your correspondence and your printed matters. The printer has the 13 most important types of bar codes: Industrial 2 of 5, Interleaved 2 of 5, Matrix 2 of 5, Codabar, Code 11, Code 3 of 9, Code 93, Code 128, EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, UPC-E and Postnet, so that your forms and labels can be read correctly at all the times.

For multiple copies, the BP-9000 lets you print up to 8 duplicates. This saves you not only a lot of copying, but also a good deal of printing.

Convenient to use, with many interfaces

The BP-9000 is refreshingly simple, thanks to the innovative 2-level menu system (no DIP switches) which displays selections on a 16-digit LCD panel in 5 languages (English, French, German, Spanish and Italian). You can even store three configurations for instant recall. These models have auto section parallel Centronics and serial RS-232C interfaces, with the option of adding IBM Coax, Twinax, Ethernet and Token Ring.
